Title: Social Hashtags Author: shanaver Published: 26.6.2013 Last modified: 13.2.2015 --- Hae lisäosia ![](https://ps.w.org/social-hashtags/assets/banner-772x250.png?rev=731795) This plugin **hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress**. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress. ![](https://s.w.org/plugins/geopattern-icon/social-hashtags_faf8d3.svg) # Social Hashtags [shanaver](https://profiles.wordpress.org/shanaver/) [Lataa](https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/social-hashtags.zip) * [Tiedot](https://fi.wordpress.org/plugins/social-hashtags/#description) * [Arvostelut](https://fi.wordpress.org/plugins/social-hashtags/#reviews) * [Asennus](https://fi.wordpress.org/plugins/social-hashtags/#installation) * [Kehitys](https://fi.wordpress.org/plugins/social-hashtags/#developers) [Tuki](https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/social-hashtags/) ## Kuvaus Grabs images & videos matching any hashtag from social APIs like instagram & youtube. Stores thumbnails & details locally for each one in a custom post type so you have full control over the content on your site. This allows you to categorize, make private/public, etc and include them any wayt hat you like on your pages. Extendable to include twitter, telportd and others as well. We first developed this for the original Kony2012 site, it was a huge hit. Sorry that it took so long to get it into the WordPress plugins. ### Update Plans We are going to upgrade twitter to oAuth, and clean up the layout. ## Kuvankaappaukset [⌊Settings⌉⌊Settings⌉[ Settings ## Asennus 1. Upload dntly folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory 2. Activate the plugin through the ’Plugins’ menu in WordPress 3. Add an API source & hashtag to pull from ## UKK How long does it take to set up? It takes about 1 minute to start pulling in videos from youtube. It takes about 5 minutes to start pulling in instagram content because you will need to create an instagram client first. ## Arvostelut ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/95377293a87943ab05d9fa8628bab10b93b13dca63fe3bf1a02ccbe335db4dc3? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Pretty good, but only full size and thumbnail images are included](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/pretty-good-but-only-full-size-and-thumbnail-images-are-included/)󠁿 [radgh](https://profiles.wordpress.org/radgh/) 3.9.2016 The plugin did everything I hoped for, but when I wanted to display 360×360 thumbnails I found out it doesn't actually upload the photos to WordPress. It only grabs the full size URL, and the thumbnail URL (150×150), neither of which are ideal for my cases. Would be great to have the option to "Upload a copy to this website", or at the very least get a few more image sizes.
