It connects your site to a service that analyses your code for things like security issues, complexity, and third-party components and plugins. It’s been really helpful in giving the team working on the site a clearer view of what’s going on behind the scenes in one place rather than having to pull all of the information in from various areas. I’ve already found a couple of small security things I needed to fix, which I probably wouldn’t have had to time to look into otherwise. Although we use github to manage all of our code changes it’s nice to know my code is backed up in the background to a secondary repository. Overall this is a solid tool if you’re looking to stay on top of your site’s code quality.
