See the [details](https://churchthemes.com/plugins/widget-importer-exporter/) on ChurchThemes.com. #### Importing Importing is done by uploading an export file created by the plugin. The results of an import are shown in a nicely formatted table with an explanation of what happened with each widget area and widget. Importation takes into consideration widget areas not existing in the current theme( widgets imported as _Inactive_), widgets that already exist in the same widget area( widgets not duplicated) and widgets that are not supported by the site (widgets not imported). #### Exporting Widget Importer & Exporter can create an export file (in JSON format with .wie extension) out of currently active widgets. This file can be imported into other sites using this plugin or used to restore widgets to the same site later. #### Kehittäjät The `wie_before_import` action fires after a file is uploaded but before the data is imported. `wie_after_import` fires after the data is imported. The `wie_import_data` filter can be used to filter data before it is imported. Other filters are used throughout. Make a pull request on GitHub if you need another hook. Please jump on [GitHub](https://github.com/churchthemes/widget-importer-exporter) to report issues and follow development. ## Kuvankaappaukset [⌊Main import/export screen⌉⌊Main import/export screen⌉[ Main import/export screen [⌊Results from an import⌉⌊Results from an import⌉[ Results from an import ## Asennus Please see [Installing Plugins](https://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Installing_Plugins) in the WordPress Codex. After activation, go to _Tools > Widget Importer & Exporter_ ## UKK ### Why does the JSON export file use a .wie extension? The export file contains JSON data that is not compatible with any other plugin. Therefore it has a proprietary file extension. This keeps people from confusing export files from other widget import/export plugins. ## Arvostelut ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/058598ab440f3b463c8159c4c68458d55412c06aab03218470390ca0196c12de? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Thanks for great plugin.](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/thanks-for-great-plugin-20/)󠁿 [Anil Chandra Robidas](https://profiles.wordpress.org/anilkumer/) 12.11.2024 Simple and Easy to Use ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/c8ce6d15ccb9ae5d78178f7de418f9ebe17db1d35dc62bd3fc56d3fcbc5944a3? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Does what I need](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/does-what-i-need-95/)󠁿 [Chris Lovie-Tyler](https://profiles.wordpress.org/chrislt/) 19.4.2024 Thanks for creating this! ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/5712246d0abb1588624a8d33f76a57ea48763f7cc891f2bd302c5a212efe9d3e? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Thank you very much](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/thank-you-very-much-137/)󠁿 [raffmediapub](https://profiles.wordpress.org/raffmediapub/) 14.3.2024 Thank you very much, 6 star plugin ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/5c28c3cb9455822dee548170805ccb7e9a6f3c5a01ba501fb7a05f691d6e7fb4? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[It works with blocks, too!](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/it-works-with-blocks-too/)󠁿 [jofer](https://profiles.wordpress.org/jofer/) 14.8.2023 I don't like Gutenberg but since it seems to be here to stay, one has to adapt.
