# Movie Helper

## Kuvaus

I run a site that talks about movies and TV series. Every month, very long lists
of news from Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney +, etc. are published.
 To make the list
more interesting, a link to IMDB is added to each entry. A very slow and tedious
procedure! Hence the idea of creating Movie Helper! With Movie Helper you can simply
search for the title you need, click on the cover and it will automatically be inserted
in the post! No shortcodes needed, no custom posts, just click and go!

### How To use

### Editing content

Below the editor, you will find a new box where you will able to search for a movie
or a tv show.
 If you are using the classic editor, search and click the image to
insert the link to the post. If you’re using the new Gutenberg editor, search and
click the image to create a list. Once you’ve done, click ”insert” to insert the
list to the post.

## Asennus

 1. Navigate to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add New and search for Movie Helper
 2. Click on ”Install Now” and then ”Activate”

## UKK

### Does it work only with TMDB?

Yes, at least for now. But it is designed to support more services.
 Feel free to
write into the support forum to propose new ones.

### Does it work with PHP 8?

Yes, Movie Helper is 100% fully compatible with PHP 8

Works exactly like they say it would. The only thing is that with the IMDb. It's
mentioned a lot and may have been considered at the beginning. B ut now they're 
working with the Tmdb. If you're a beginner, that could be confusing, but that's
imho not enough for loss of a star. [Sorry for violating your language, German here.]

Your Movie Helper plugin is fantastic and almost perfect for me. I only wish i could
customize the link a little. Like remove the spans and add the year of the movie
after the link automatically. on my site we deal with many movies that have similar
titles and I like to distinguish them by using the year in parenthesis after the
movie title. Thank you again, and I hope there is further development to this plugin.
