Kuvaus
A newer version with more features is free at fitnesscopilot.co/get: the trainer’s week on a phone, drag people between times, a quick add on every free hour, and the option of a hosted site with the booking built in. This directory version is complete and stays supported.
Your timetable and your one to one diary are the same week, on one screen. A class card says how many places are left, a session card says who is in it. When somebody drops out the plugin already knows who could take that time, because it wrote down what everybody said they could do.
Nothing is ever moved automatically. The plugin suggests, you decide, the person confirms. Somebody who says ”8am or nothing” is never asked to move, because that answer is recorded too.
Classes, with a real waiting list
- A class is a weekly pattern with a number of places: a name, a colour, a length, how many fit. It appears on your week as Reformer, 9 of 12, a full one as 12 of 12, 3 waiting.
- People book from your own site with a name and an email address. No account, no password, no sign up.
- When it is full they join the waiting list, and joining costs nothing. They see where they are in the queue on their own page.
- A place that comes free is offered, not silently given away. Close to the class the first in the queue gets a window to take it; further out it goes straight to them. A setting on each class.
- A credit is only spent on a place somebody accepted. An offer nobody answered expires and costs them nothing.
- Open a class and you are in the room. Who is in it, who is waiting, add somebody, promote somebody, tick who turned up, call it off. Cutting the places below the people booked is refused, and it says so.
- Calling a class off asks about every person in it, one by one: does their credit go back, or is it used. Nothing moves until you have answered.
- A class holds its squares. A one to one cannot be dropped on a running class, and a class cannot be placed over a session.
One to one sessions, and the flexibility nobody writes down
Every booking tool stores the same fact: this person is booked at this time. This plugin stores the one you actually reason with as well: the other times they could also do.
Suzy can only do 7am. Joe is in the 7am slot but told you 8:15 suits him just as well. That second fact is what makes a full week solvable, and it normally lives in your head for the few people you happen to remember being flexible.
- Set the hours you work, in as many blocks a day as you need, and copy one day across the week in a click.
- Record what each person can do: they want it, it suits them equally, they would take it if needed, or they cannot.
- Sessions as long as you run them. Half hours, forty fives, hours, or all three, with quarter hour starts.
- Nobody is booked more often than they asked. Each person says how many sessions a week they want, and every screen shows how many are placed.
- See who is waiting for each time, keenest first, with anybody at their weekly count dimmed rather than hidden.
- When a request lands on a taken time, you get an ordered list of swaps, kindest ask first, message already written. Never more than two people in a chain.
- Plan the week by hand. Pick a person up and drop them on a time. The squares light up before you let go, your colour where it fits and red where it does not, with the reason in words.
- Blocks of sessions, counted once. Six used, four left, running out on the twelfth. A session comes off when it happens, not when it is booked, so a plan cancelled a fortnight out costs nobody anything.
- Cancelling asks what matters: not ”are you sure” but what happens to their session, back on their block or used, with your usual answer chosen.
- Two people in one slot, or a small group of three or four. A couple trains together and each keeps their own sessions, so one comes off each block when the hour happens. They ask with a tick on your booking page and the request arrives with both named. A third is refused: different session, different price.
Set up in a few minutes, in your own words
The first screen after you activate is a short setup, every step skippable, with your country, currency, week start and town already filled in. What you skip stays listed under Your setup, worked out from what is there.
Say what you mainly do and one press sets up the rest: your timetable, the prices we suggest and your session lengths. It does not have to be exact, martial arts covers krav maga and karate alike. Every screen then uses your field’s words: students in classes, patients with appointments. Search finds words that are not on the label, so reformer finds Pilates.
Memberships your booking page actually enforces
Every pricing plugin lets you write ”includes 8 classes a month” next to a buy button. None knows when somebody books the ninth. This one is the same object the diary reads, so what the price list promises is what happens when somebody presses the button.
External services
This plugin calls out from your server in seven places and nowhere else, and every one of them is something you pressed: writing an article, finding your business and reading your own words during setup, the keyword list, the Where you show up report and the Google reviews it carries, registering this site so those doors know it, asking what people charge near you, and taking a payment if you connect a payment provider. Each one is described below. Left alone, the plugin makes no outbound call at all.
Writing an article, through fitnesscopilot.co
Service: FitnessCopilot (fitnesscopilot.co), the external service operated by this plugin’s developer.
What it does: reads the text you send from the Articles screen with an AI model. Improve this draft returns your draft edited plus a note about anything shaky. Write it up from my notes turns your notes into a structured post, lists every factual claim as supported, overstated or wrong and, if you ask, finds a reference per claim, each fetched by our server to confirm it exists; one that does not is left out. Nothing is published without you choosing it.
When it happens: only when you press a button on the Articles screen, never on a schedule, on activation, on a page view or in the background; each press is one of twenty a month.
What is sent: for Improve this draft, the draft, the language, the keyword, and your two lists of things to work in and things you will not say. For Write it up from my notes, your notes, the keyword and its related terms; then the draft for the check; then the claims for the references. With each one, the licence key this site was issued, so your monthly allowance is counted against your site rather than against everyone who shares your web host. Nothing else: not your name, your email or your clients.
What is stored: a request count against your licence key, and against the connecting address when no key is sent, for the limits. We keep none of the content.
Terms of service: https://fitnesscopilot.co/terms
Privacy policy: https://fitnesscopilot.co/privacy
Two calls come from your browser rather than your server: see ”Does the setup screen contact anything?” below.
What people charge near you, through fitnesscopilot.co
Only when you press Pre-fill from what people charge near you on the Prices screen. Your site sends your country, your town or city, and what you teach. Nothing else: not your web address, your name, your email, your own prices or anything about your clients.
What comes back: the middle price and usual range for that trade there, how many published prices it came from, whether it was measured in your town, your country or countries like yours, and roughly how many people search for it near you each month. The figures come from prices businesses publish openly on their own sites. We store nothing about the question, and never pressing the button means no call is made.

Privacy policy: https://fitnesscopilot.co/privacy
Finding your business, and reading your own words, through fitnesscopilot.co
Only on the setup screen, and only when you press. Fill this in for me sends what you typed, which is your business name and town or a link to a page about you, and what comes back is a short list of businesses to choose from with the address, hours and phone we hold for each. Read my words sends the sentences you typed or spoke on the ”In your words” step, and what comes back is those sentences sorted into the fields of the steps that follow. Nothing is saved until you pick one, or press save, and if the call fails the screen says so and you type your details in as normal.
What is stored: a request count against your licence key for the limits. We keep neither your words nor your search.
Terms of service: https://fitnesscopilot.co/terms
Privacy policy: https://fitnesscopilot.co/privacy
The list of words people search for, through fitnesscopilot.co
Only when you press Choose your keywords on the Articles screen, and again each time you search or change language inside it. Your site sends your licence key, the language you are looking in, what you typed in the search box and which topic you pressed. What comes back is a list of phrases with how often each is searched. The list is an offer: with the door down, the button says so and you write the article without it.
What is stored: a request count against your licence key for the limits.
Terms of service: https://fitnesscopilot.co/terms
Privacy policy: https://fitnesscopilot.co/privacy
Where you show up, and your Google reviews, through fitnesscopilot.co
Whenever you open the Where you show up screen, and once a day for the reviews if you switch them on. Your site sends its licence key and nothing else. What comes back is what we already hold about your website’s address: where you come up for a few searches, what we can see of your Google listing, businesses near you, whether the assistants mention you, and, when you have switched them on, your Google reviews to show on your page. Your site asks Google for nothing and holds no Google account of its own. The answer is kept on your site for an hour, and the last good one is kept and shown if a later call fails, so the screen and your page never empty out.
What is stored: a request count against your licence key for the limits.
Terms of service: https://fitnesscopilot.co/terms
Privacy policy: https://fitnesscopilot.co/privacy
Registering this site, through fitnesscopilot.co
The first time any of the doors above is used, your site asks for a licence key of its own and stores it. It sends your site’s address, which part of the plugin is asking, and this plugin’s version number, and nothing else. If a door later refuses the key it holds, it asks once for a fresh one and tries again, so a key that has gone stale does not leave a screen refusing for ever.
What is stored: the key and your site’s address, and the request counts kept against that key.
Terms of service: https://fitnesscopilot.co/terms
Privacy policy: https://fitnesscopilot.co/privacy
Taking a payment, through fitnesscopilot.co and your payment provider
Only if you connect a payment provider on the Prices screen, and only when a client presses to pay. Your site sends its licence key, which package was chosen and that client’s email address, and what comes back is the address of the provider’s own payment page, which is where the client types their card details. Your site never sees or stores a card. Connecting sends your licence key and a secret of your site’s own, so the provider’s answer can be recognised when it comes back.

Blocks
This plugin provides 4 blocks.
- Session request form
- What people say
- The people who teach here
- Before and after
Asennus
- Install and activate. The first admin page you open afterwards is Alsoworks Fitness Booking, Set up, which walks through the whole thing in a few minutes. Every step can be skipped, and what you skip stays listed under Your setup so you can pick it up later.
- Automated setup: where you are. One line saying your country, your language and your money, guessed from your site and your connection, which you confirm with one tap. Everything after it is written in the language you confirm here. On a phone you can tap to use your location so your town is right. Change anything that is not, or skip it and your site’s own settings stand.
- In your words, if you like. A few sentences about who you are and how you work, typed or spoken, and the steps after this arrive already filled in from them. Nothing is invented: anything you did not say is left for you to answer, and every step we filled in says so until you have looked at it. Skip it and the rest of the setup is exactly what it always was.
- Language and region. So the week starts on the right day, the clock reads the way your country reads it, and prices come out in your currency. If your browser can reach our site it fills these in as a guess for you to correct. See the question below about what that call is.
- Say what you teach, and the plugin uses your field’s words from then on.
- Set the hours you work. Nothing can be booked until you have. Everything from here on is optional, and the plugin works on its defaults.
- Who works here, and what rooms. Add the people who take sessions and the rooms they use, so nobody is booked twice and no room is used twice. Skip it and it stays just you, with nothing extra on any screen.
- Your classes, if you run them. A name, a colour, how long it runs and how many places. If you do not run classes, say so and no class control appears anywhere.
- Your prices. The board works without them, on half hour, three quarter hour and hour sessions, until you say otherwise.
- Your phone console. Pick a phrase of your own. Typing it into your own booking page turns that page into your week, on whatever phone you are holding, without signing in to WordPress.
- Your booking page. One button makes a published page holding the form and tells you which page it made. Or put it on a page yourself with the Session request form block, the matching Elementor or WPBakery element, or the
[fitness_copilot_request]shortcode. - Get found on Google. Your name, address and phone. Your booking page then tells Google who you are, where you are, when you are open and what you charge, all of it from what you have already set. The screen hands you your booking link ready to paste into your Google Business Profile, and checks the parts of it that live on your own site.
- Email, if you want it. It is off until you set it up, and everything works without it.
- WhatsApp, if you want it. Off until you turn it on, and it never sends anything by itself.
Add the people you already teach under Alsoworks Fitness Booking, Clients, and mark which of your times each of them can do.
Deactivating changes nothing. Everything is removed only if you delete the plugin.

-
Does the setup screen contact anything?
-
Two things, once each, on the same step. Your browser asks our site which country you are in, and then which region, town, language and money you appear to be in, so the week start, clock, currency and town arrive already filled in. The country is asked on its own because it is the one answer a lookup gets wrong when a server asks it.
What is sent is the address of whoever opened the screen, which is you, and nothing else. A location lookup answers about whoever asked it, and most sites are hosted in a different country from the person running them, so without your address the answer would describe your hosting company and everything would follow it. Nothing about your site, name, email or clients is sent, and we keep no record of it.
It is only ever a guess in a field you can change, nothing is stored until you press save, and if the call fails nothing is pre-filled and nothing is said about it. Apart from these two and the doors listed under External services, the plugin makes no outside connections: no remote fonts, no remote scripts.
-
Where do the prices near me come from?
-
From prices businesses in your trade publish openly on their own sites, counted per town. The screen says how many prices it came from and whether it was measured in your town, your country, or countries like yours.
It is a sample of what a few businesses chose to publish, not the average of your market, and the screen says so every time. We will not show a figure we cannot stand behind: where a town has too few prices, or they are clearly several products lumped together, you are told there is nothing yet. The plugin needs no update for a new town to answer.
-
Do I have to name what I teach?
-
No, you can skip it. Picking the closest card is what sets your words, the prices we suggest and whether you get a timetable, and it does not have to be exact: martial arts covers krav maga and karate alike. Skip it and you keep clients and sessions, and you can pick one later on the same step.
-
Do I have to run classes?
-
No. Classes are off until you say you run them, and with them off no class control appears on any screen. Turn them on and your timetable and your one to one diary share the same week.
-
Can I take two people in one slot without running classes?
-
Yes. If you work one to one or in a therapy practice, putting two people in a slot is offered whether or not you run classes, because taking a couple is not running a timetable. Each of them is your client in their own right, with their own block, and the session comes off both when it happens.
-
What happens when a class is full?
-
People join the waiting list, which costs them nothing and shows them their place in the queue. When somebody drops out the first person in line either gets the place or is offered it with a deadline, depending on how close the class is and what you set on that class. A credit is only ever spent on a place somebody accepted.
-
Do I have to set up email?
-
No. Everything works without it. The people who book see what they booked, where they are in a queue and any place being held for them on their own page, and your own screens list anybody who still needs telling, with the message written out ready to send. Connecting an account simply means you do not have to send those yourself.
-
Does this send anything anywhere?
-
Not unless you set it up to. Email is off out of the box and the plugin never reaches
wp_mailwhile it is off. If you connect your own sending account on the Email screen, it sends short messages to the people who book with you, through your account and from your address, and to nobody else. It never sends anything through a service of ours, and it never writes to anyone who has not booked, joined a waiting list or asked you for a time. -
Where do the search numbers on the Articles screen come from?
-
They are ours. We researched fitness search demand in eighteen languages and the result ships inside the plugin as a plain data file, so looking one up is a lookup on your own server and reaches nowhere. Nothing is sent when you search, nobody learns what you typed, and it works with your site offline. The numbers are monthly search estimates and they are advisory: they tell you what people want to read about, and that is all they are for.
-
Will the Articles screen publish anything for me?
-
No, and it cannot. Every route on that screen ends at a WordPress draft, which sits in your drafts until you open it, write it and press publish yourself. There is no bulk option, no schedule and no automatic posting anywhere in the plugin.
-
Will it write about Ozempic, Mounjaro or other weight loss drugs?
-
No. Those subjects and anything else about a prescription medicine, a diagnosis or a medical treatment are refused rather than written, and they are removed from the keyword suggestions so they are never put in front of you in the first place. That is a decision, not a limitation: advice on medicines belongs with a doctor or a dietitian, and a studio blog that gives it is a risk to the reader and to the business.
-
What does Improve this draft actually send?
-
The draft text, the language, the keyword if you picked one, and the two lists you typed of things to work in and things you will not say. Nothing about your site, you, your clients or your bookings. It happens only when you press the button, at most five times in thirty days, and if our site cannot be reached your draft is left exactly as you wrote it. See External services above.
-
Can it write the post for me?
-
It can write it up from your notes, and that is the whole of it. On the Articles screen, Write it up from my notes takes what you typed in plain words (a point about food, a way of thinking about training, why mobility matters after forty), the keyword you picked from our list with its real monthly searches, and the words your site uses for its people, and sends back a full post in your voice: a title, an intro, sections, a short FAQ and a description for search, the keyword placed once and its related terms worked in. It writes your points, not its own. It does not invent clients, results, numbers or studies; where it has no evidence it writes the point as your view.
Then Check the science lists every factual claim as supported, overstated or wrong, each with a fix you can apply with one press. Tick Add references and it finds a source for each claim that deserves one; our server fetches every reference to confirm it exists, and any that does not resolve is left out and said so. A reference is never invented.
It refuses medical topics like the rest of the screen: a prescription drug, a diagnosis or a treatment is refused rather than written. Each of the three steps is one of your twenty a month, what is sent is listed under External services, we keep none of it, and the result is a WordPress draft you read, edit and publish yourself. Nothing is ever published for you.
-
Does it send WhatsApp messages?
-
No. It writes the message and opens WhatsApp with it ready on the phone of whoever pressed the button. They send it. No WhatsApp account is connected to this plugin and nothing passes through the website.
-
Can I change the words it uses?
-
Yes, and that is what the second setup step is for. Choosing what you teach sets what the plugin calls the people who book with you and the thing they book, on every screen and on your public booking page. If you never answer it, it says clients and sessions, which is what it has always said.
-
Can people book without making an account?
-
Yes. Booking a place in a class needs a name and an email address. A session request needs a name, an email address and at least one marked time. Nobody has to register, and the email address is simply how you know whose answers are whose, and how somebody opens their own page later.
-
How does somebody see their own bookings?
-
They type the email address they booked with into the one field on your booking page. That shows them their classes, their sessions, their place in any queue and any place being held for them. It shows them nothing about anybody else, and nothing about money.
-
Where does the information live?
-
In your own WordPress database, like your posts and pages, in the plugin’s own post types. It creates no database tables of its own. You can download all of it as a file from the Clients screen.
-
What happens if I deactivate or delete the plugin?
-
Deactivating changes nothing, and everything comes back when you switch it on again. Updating changes nothing. Deleting removes the people you teach, their stated times, your classes and your sessions, so download a copy first if you want to keep them. WordPress warns you on the Plugins screen while there is anything to lose.
-
I am switching from another system. What comes with me?
-
- Bring your clients with you. Upload the list your old system gives you and everybody arrives at once: names, contact details, and how many sessions each person has left.
- The balances come too. Somebody with four sessions left on Friday has four sessions left on Monday.
- Your file, not ours. Commas or semicolons, saved from Excel or anything else, headings in English, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, French, Dutch or Portuguese. The columns are matched up for you and you can correct any of them before anything is written.
- See exactly what will happen first. You are shown how many people are new, how many are already here, how many blocks would be recorded, and any rows that cannot be read, before a single record is created.
- A row is imported whole or not at all. A row that cannot be read is listed with its line number and skipped. You never end up with somebody on the books whose balance quietly did not arrive.
- And you can leave. Download the same list back out as a spreadsheet whenever you like.
-
Does it work with my page builder?
-
Yes. The request form registers as a block, an Elementor widget and a WPBakery element, and there is a shortcode for anything else. All four render exactly the same form.
-
Somebody cancelled and I have a gap. What now?
-
Open your week. Every free time lists the people who said they could be in it, so you can see at a glance who to ask, including anybody already booked elsewhere who could move across. If it was a place in a class, the waiting list has already been told.
-
Can I ask health questions before a first visit?
-
Therapists, rehab classes and anyone taking on somebody new usually ask a few things before they see them, and they usually ask on paper. Write your questions once against an appointment type or a class, and anybody booking that one answers them on the way in. A yes to a question you have marked puts needs a word before the first session on the request, so you ring them rather than finding out in the room.
The answers live in your own WordPress database, on that person’s record, and nowhere else. They are not in any message this plugin sends, they are not on the page the person themselves sees, and nothing about them is ever sent to us. They appear on one screen: yours.
They are also covered by the tools WordPress already gives you. A person asking for everything you hold about them gets their answers in the export; a person asking to be forgotten has them erased; deleting the person deletes them with the record.
The questions are yours, not ours. This plugin ships no screening form and no medical wording of its own. If you use PAR-Q+, the screen links you to the people who maintain it so you take the current wording from the source rather than a paraphrase.
-
What about reviews and testimonials?
-
- Your own testimonials, with photos, each published only once you have recorded who gave permission, when and how, with a separate permission for a photo of them.
- One full width wall, animated, with the movement switched off for anyone whose device asks for that.
- An Ask for a review button beside each person, which opens WhatsApp or email with the message written and your Google review link in it. Nothing is ever sent automatically and there is no reminder telling you when: you decide the moment.
- Everybody is asked the same way, with no rating step first, because asking only the people you expect a good word from is what Google removes a business’s reviews for.
- A printable code for your studio wall that opens your review page when somebody scans it.
- An optional button under the wall that opens your own Google listing, where your reviews are. It is off until you switch it on, and nothing is ever copied onto your page.
-
Are my Google reviews shown on my site?
-
No, and that is deliberate. Your wall shows the testimonials you were given and typed in, with the permission recorded beside each one. Your Google reviews stay on Google, where Google shows them and stands behind them, and the optional button under your wall takes a visitor straight there.
Your site asks Google for nothing and needs no Google account, no API key and no billing.
-
How does it help me get found on Google?
-
Most people looking for a trainer start on Google, not on a website. The step asks first which of three you are. If you have a listing, it hands you your booking page link ready to paste into the Bookings section of your Google Business Profile, with the steps and the one thing that catches people out: if a booking link from your own web address is already there, Google silently removes the new one, so the old one has to go first. If you have no listing yet, it tells you what a Business Profile is and the five things Google will ask for, so you meet none of them cold. If you teach over video with no address, you are described as an online service instead, the address is skipped and the listing step is optional.
Either way your booking page carries a plain description of your business for search engines, invisible on the page itself, built from what you have already told the plugin: what you teach decides what kind of business it says you are, your hours become your opening hours, your packages become your price range, and your name, address and phone come from one short form. Nothing is invented, anything you have not filled in is not said, and no rating or review is ever claimed. The plugin never connects to Google or signs in to anything: putting the link on your listing is something you do yourself.
What it cannot do: nobody can make Google rank you, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something. It makes your site describe you correctly, feeds your listing the right facts, and says plainly which are missing.
-
Does it send reminders?
-
Only if you switch them on, and only where you have connected email. A reminder goes out before each session or class, as long before as you choose, with a second one closer to the time if you want it, and a line of your own in it: bring a towel, the door code, where to park. Anybody a reminder could not reach lands on your list of people to tell, with a WhatsApp button, so nobody is quietly missed. On a site you host yourself, reminders go out when somebody visits it, so a very quiet site may send one late; the setting says so where you switch it on. Nothing is scheduled until you do.
-
How does email work?
-
Email is off when you install this, and sends nothing until you set it up. Pick one of three routes on the Email screen and it walks you through that one, a step at a time with a picture beside each: Gmail or Google Workspace, a free sending account alongside Cloudflare Email Routing, or the mailbox that came with your hosting.
Press Verify and it sends one test message to you. It says Connected only once that message has arrived and will not switch notifications on before then, so nothing quietly fails behind your back. Messages go out through your account, from your own address, never through a service of ours. Change a setting and the test runs again. With email off everything still works.
Anyone a message could not reach lands on a list you can work down, with the words ready to copy and the reason beside them: email is off, your account refused it, or they have no address on file. Somebody you booked in over the phone is on it too, which is the point.
-
How does WhatsApp work?
-
Put in your WhatsApp number and an Ask on WhatsApp button appears on your booking page with the request already written. On your own screens the same button opens WhatsApp on somebody whose number you have, carrying the message the plugin wrote for you.
Nothing is sent by the website. The link opens WhatsApp on the phone of whoever pressed it, and they send it themselves. No WhatsApp account is connected to this plugin.
-
Can I run my diary from my phone?
-
The console lives on any page you put it on, or on a booking page the plugin can make for you in one click. It is opened with a phrase you choose, which is not your WordPress password and cannot be used to log in to your site.
Anyone with the phrase can do everything the diary does: approve, decline and rearrange sessions, run a class, add somebody, and record, correct or remove a block of sessions somebody has bought, including the amount you were paid. It reaches nothing else on your site. The phrase is stored hashed, never in plain text, and it is refused if you try to set it to your WordPress password. Wrong guesses are limited, every use is listed for you to read, and changing the phrase or switching the console off signs every device out at once.
-
Will it use my language, my week and my clock?
-
Weeks start on the day your site starts on. Times follow your site’s own clock, so a site set up in German gets a 24 hour one without anyone changing a setting. Every word is translatable.
-
How are prices set?
-
They become the price list people read, the session lengths your diary offers, and the block you record when somebody pays. Show the list above or below your times, or put it anywhere on your site with a shortcode. If you have not settled on your prices, there is a short guide that helps you work them out.
A package can be for one person, for two, or for a small group. The price for two is one you type, never one the screen works out by halving your solo rate, and the list shows the total alongside what that is each per session, which is the number people compare.
-
What is the Articles screen?
-
Most sites in this trade are one page that never changes, and the reason is not laziness. It is that nobody knows what to write about, and the tools that would tell them cost more per month than the site does per year.
The Articles screen answers that. It ships with real monthly search numbers for eighteen languages, taken from our own research and stored inside the plugin, so looking one up costs nothing and reaches nowhere. You pick a subject from a category or by searching what people in your language actually type, choose one of six article shapes, and get a draft with the headings already in it and questions in the gaps asking for the part only you can supply: your method, what you have seen in eight years, the mistakes you correct every week.
What comes out is a WordPress draft. You write it, you edit it, and you press publish. The plugin never publishes anything, never writes more than one draft at a time, and has no way to produce a batch of them. The search numbers are shown as information about what people want to read, never as an instruction to repeat a phrase, and the drafting never touches medicines: anything about a prescription drug, a diagnosis or a treatment is refused rather than written, because that belongs with a doctor and not with a studio blog.
There is one optional extra step. If you have written a draft and want a second pair of eyes on it, Improve this draft sends the text to our site, which reads it and sends back an edited version plus a note about anything that looked shaky or overstated. You choose whether to use it; your post is never changed for you. That button is the only thing in the whole plugin that sends anything anywhere, it happens only when you press it, and it is limited to twenty a month. See External services below for exactly what is sent.

How does the app on the phone work?
-
Your booking page becomes something people can install. On Android and on a desktop the browser offers to add it; on an iPhone it takes two taps, Share then Add to Home Screen, and the page says so. What lands on the home screen carries your business name and your colours, and opens straight onto the booking page rather than into a browser with tabs and an address bar.
It is the same page for both sides. Someone who books opens their own times, what they have left on their block, and the classes they are in. You open your board, signed in with your phrase, and stay signed in.
There is no store involved, no account with us, and nothing to download. It is your own page, on a phone, served by your own site.
-
Who sends the notifications?
-
Your site does. When you switch the app on, your site makes itself a signing key, keeps it, and never shows it to anybody, including us. A phone that has agreed to receive notifications is recorded against that person, and when something happens your site encrypts a short message and hands it to the push service that phone’s own browser named: Google’s for Chrome and Android, Apple’s for Safari and iPhone, Mozilla’s for Firefox.
Those services carry the message but cannot read it: it is encrypted with a key only that phone holds. They see only that a message went from your site to that device, and how big it was. Nothing reaches us: no account, no service of ours in the path, and no way for us to send anything to anybody who installed your page.
A notification says what happened and never who: the site’s name and one line, so a message on a locked screen in a changing room tells a passer-by nothing about your clients. The detail is behind the tap, on the page that already decides who may see it.
-
What do people actually get told?
-
Someone who books hears about a confirmation, a place offered to them, a place they have moved up into, a reminder before the time, being taken out of a class, and a block running down to its last couple of sessions.
You hear about a new request, a cancellation, somebody taking a place that came free, an intake answer you asked to be told about, and somebody’s block running out.
Emails still go exactly as before. The notification is a second way of hearing, not a replacement, because a phone that was switched off is not a person who was told.
-
What if my host cannot do it?
-
Then the setting refuses to switch on and says which piece is missing, the way the email screen refuses an account whose test did not pass. Notifications need a particular kind of encryption and a few shared hosts have it off. Either the switch goes on and the test arrives on your phone, or the setting says why not.
One honest caveat, the same one reminders carry: your site only does scheduled work when somebody visits it, so on a very quiet site a reminder can go out late.
A phone set up for notifications counts as that person’s data: it appears in a data export and an erasure request removes it, through WordPress’s own privacy tools. The export never names the address itself, because that address is what writes to their phone.
-
Can I show before and after photos?
-
Yes, if that is how your work is shown. Personal trainers, bootcamps and gyms get a Results block on the booking page out of the box; yoga, pilates and therapy presets do not, and either can switch it on or off under Settings. It draws nothing at all until one result has permission recorded.
Each result is a before photo and an after photo chosen from your own media library, the person’s name and a line of words. Nothing is uploaded anywhere else, no other service is involved and nothing leaves your site, unless you connect a folder (the next question). Before a result appears you record who gave permission, when and how, the same way as a testimonial, and a tick with no name or date against it is not a permission. Drag results into the order you want, hide one without losing it, and Withdraw takes it off your site in one press: the permission is cleared, the entry is hidden and the two photos stay in your library, because they are yours. A result is covered by the WordPress export and erasure tools like everything else about a person.
-
Do my records stay mine?
-
There is no account, no key and no analytics, and no card details ever reach it, because it takes no payments. Everybody who books with you, their contact details and everything they have told you about their availability stay in your own WordPress database, and you can download the lot as a file whenever you like.

Muutosloki
2.0.5
- Six ready-made looks for your booking page, chosen from swatches, and a text-size choice for people who want it larger.
- Your clients open their own page: their sessions, the next one first, and the times they have asked for. Somebody new who says they train with you already is added on the spot.
- Each place you train at carries one number for what a session costs there compared with anywhere else, and your booking page says why: a gym’s guest pass, a studio’s, or simply the difference.
- Setting up starts with one question: what somebody would type into Google to find you. We read what is written about you, and what your own website already says, and fill in as much of the setup as we can. You read it through and change anything that is not right. Nothing is saved until you say the business is yours.
- Your prices step shows two answers side by side: what people charge near you, and what your own website says you charge. Neither is applied until you pick one, and they are never mixed.
- Your country is now asked from your own browser rather than from your web host, so a trainer in London on a foreign host is no longer told they are somewhere else.
- Your diary reads as a board: the times run once down the left instead of in every column, empty slots are quiet, today is marked, and how much week you see is one control instead of two.
- Adding a class, a couple or a small group is done by tapping the week itself. No dropdowns anywhere on your booking page or your board.
- Somebody who writes in appears as a card with each question and their own answer under it, and their email and phone as two things you can press.
- A new class can be made from the board, where you are standing, instead of being sent to another screen.
- Your wall is your own testimonials, and your Google reviews can now sit beside it if you switch them on. Your site still asks Google for nothing and needs no Google account, no API key and no billing: we fetch them for you and your page shows what we last read, so a day when nothing can be fetched does not empty your page. A key an earlier version stored is forgotten the next time you save that screen.
- A new screen, Where you show up, says what Google and the AI assistants know about you: where you come up for a few searches, what your listing says, who else is near you, and what is missing. It reads what we already hold about your address and asks you for nothing.
- The article writer offers the words people actually search for, in any of the languages we hold them in, sorted by what they are about rather than by how many people type them. The list is an offer: if it cannot be reached, the screen says so and you write the article without it.
- When our writing service is busy, the screen now says that in a sentence and keeps everything you typed, instead of showing a code or emptying your notes. A licence that has gone stale is replaced quietly rather than leaving a button that does nothing.
- Where you teach is its own answer now: your own space, a place you work out of, or ”I come to you”, each with what somebody needs to get in the door and what it costs there, so nobody finds out on the day.
- Your WhatsApp number says plainly when it is saved, when it is removed, and when the number did not look right, instead of coming back looking the same either way.
1.6.9
- Adding your first class works. A class is defined once and you mark the days and times it runs on a week strip, so one class that runs three times is one class rather than three with the same name.
- Your prices are set on the setup step itself, and your email account is connected there too. No step of the setup sends you off to another screen any more.
- Somebody who writes in through your booking page now appears on your board, at the top of who needs a place, with what they asked for and how to reach them. ”New” adds a client from there as well.
- Your own way in to your diary sits beside the email box at the top of your booking page, and the setup shows you where it is.
- Opening a Google Business Profile, and putting your booking link on it, are walked through one screen at a time with a picture of each, instead of a list of instructions.
- Your business details arrive filled in from your Google listing where we have one, each one marked so you can see where it came from.
- The setup keeps what you type as you type it, so a wrong tap or a closed tab never costs you the work.
- What you teach opens on the trades most people here run, with the rest one tap away, and the screens say what they are for in plainer words.
- A town and a county guessed for one country no longer stay behind when you correct the country.
1.6.8
- Where you are is worked out from your own connection rather than your host’s, so a site behind a security service no longer guesses the wrong country, and tapping ”use my location” now uses the position you gave it.
- Change your country and the money follows it, instead of leaving your prices in the currency of a country you corrected.
- The lists on the setup screens are readable again when you move the mouse over them.
- The setup screens no longer advertise anything, and the locale step offers one clear way on instead of two that did the same thing.
1.6.7
- Every admin screen now carries the plugin’s own name, Alsoworks Fitness Booking, so what you see inside matches what you installed.
1.6.6
- Set up starts by confirming where you are and which language everything should be in, guessed from your site and your connection, one tap to confirm. Then, if you like, tell us about your business in a few words, or say it, and the steps arrive filled in for you to check. Both screens are optional.
- The plugin now speaks 22 languages, on every screen a client or an owner reads, including the booking messages that carry names and numbers.
- Taking payments: choose how clients pay you, by card through your own Stripe account, with the payment link you already have from your bank or app, or by bank transfer with a short reference. We never take a share.
- The food diary’s ”remove every meal” now asks before it removes anything, and the meal and progress forms answer every tap and never record an entry twice.
- The set up screens show their proper styling again on every site.
- A client’s session count reads in the right order in right-to-left languages.
1.6.5
- Progress charts: the number at each end of a chart now reads the value recorded on that date. A chart for something that goes down, body weight, waist, resting heart rate or a pain score, could show the two end numbers the wrong way round, so a month of progress read as the opposite of what was logged. A chart for something that had not changed could also show two numbers that were never recorded at all. The lines themselves were always drawn correctly.
1.6.3
- Results from Instagram: connect your account on Instagram’s own sign in and every photo on it becomes a result, kept in step once a day, with the same recorded permission before anything appears on your pages. The access key is read only, refreshes itself, and Disconnect removes everything that came from Instagram. While Meta reviews the app, connect works for the accounts we list as testers; it opens for everyone the day the review passes, with no update needed.
1.6.2
- Taking a seat in a class now keeps your page the same way booking a session already did: the browser remembers you, with nothing to sign up for.
1.6.1
- The plugin is now listed as Alsoworks Fitness Booking. Your settings, your clients, your classes and your sessions are untouched: only the name on the listing changes, and every screen you already use is where it was.
1.6.0
- Setting up, rebuilt around what you already know about your own business. One question asks what you mainly do, the commonest trades first and the rest a line below, and the card you pick sets your words, the prices we suggest and whether you get a timetable. It does not have to be exact: martial arts covers krav maga and karate alike.
- Language and region: your country is a list rather than two letters to type, your town and region are asked and filled in from the same guess, and the guess is made by your browser so it describes you rather than your hosting company.
- Prices: Pre-fill from what people charge near you asks our site what businesses like yours publish in your town, shows the middle price, the usual range, how many prices it came from and how many people search for that trade near you, and fills your empty rows when you press it. Where we have nothing for your town yet it says so and changes nothing. Blocks now say Does not expire by default instead of a zero, any row can be removed, and the first session has a box of its own: free or a figure, with what to offer afterwards.
- Your phone console shows the two sides of your own booking page side by side, so the difference between what clients see and what you see is looked at rather than read, and the phrase is checked for strength as you type.
- Get found on Google asks first which of three you are: you have a listing, you do not have one yet, or you teach over video with no address. Each gets its own path, and an online business is described as a service rather than a place with a missing address.
- Email is now walked one route at a time, with a picture per step and a Verify button that says Connected in green only once a test message has actually arrived.
- WhatsApp: the number is on the screen, as a country picker and a number that is checked as you type, with the button previewed beside it.
1.5.9
- Articles: Write it up from my notes. Type what you want to say in plain words, pick a keyword from our list with its real monthly searches, and get a full post in your voice: a title, an intro, sections, a short FAQ and a description for search, the keyword placed once and its related terms worked in. Check the science lists every factual claim as supported, overstated or wrong with a fix to apply; Add references finds a real source per claim, and our server confirms each one exists before it is shown, leaving out any that does not. Medical topics are refused as before. Each step is one of the twenty a month, what is sent is listed under External services, and the result is a draft you publish yourself.
1.5.8
- Results from a folder: paste the link to a Google Drive or Dropbox folder you have shared with a link, and every photo in it becomes a result, kept in step once a day or when you press Sync now. A photo removed from the folder is removed from your site at the next sync; Disconnect removes the lot from your library and leaves what you uploaded by hand. To read the folder your site sends the link and an anonymous site code to fitnesscopilot.co, and we keep nothing. Permission is still recorded before anything appears.
1.5.7
- Results: a before and after gallery on the booking page for personal trainers, bootcamps and gyms, switchable on or off for any preset. Two photos from your own media library, a name and a line of words per person, with permission recorded before anything appears, drag ordering, hide and unhide, and a one press Withdraw that takes it off the page and leaves the photos in your library. Nothing leaves your site.
- On a phone, a client’s own page now opens on their next session, the offer waiting for them and what they have left; asking for times, their blocks, the prices and the sign in field sit behind headings that open on a tap. Which ones stay open is remembered on that device only.
1.5.6
- Your own app: the booking page installs on a phone with your name, colour and icon, for the people who book with you and for you.
- One install, both sides: someone who books opens their own times, you open your board and stay signed in.
- Notifications sent by your own site, with no account and no service of ours: confirmations, an offered place, reminders and a block running out for them; a new request, a cancellation, somebody taking a place that came free, a flagged intake answer and a block running out for you.
- A test notification on the settings screen proves the whole chain on your own phone before you tell anybody about it.
- The setting refuses to switch on where the server cannot do the encryption, and says which piece is missing.
- A site that never switches it on is unchanged.
1.5.5
- Reminders before each session or class, by email where you have connected an account, with a second one closer to the time if you want it and a line of your own inside. Anybody a reminder could not reach lands on your list of people to tell. Off until you switch them on.
- Your Google reviews on your own site without a Google account of your own. Enter your place id and we ask Google for you with our key, about once a month. Your site sends us your place id and a code that stands for your site, and nothing else.
- If we are between fetches, or busy serving other sites that month, your wall carries on showing the last reviews we gave you. Nothing on your site ever goes blank and your visitors never see an error.
- Refresh now asks us to come early and tells you in one line when the next fetch is due.
- Enter a Google key of your own and your site talks to Google directly instead, exactly as before. Untick one box and your site sends nothing anywhere.
1.5.4
- Memberships the booking engine enforces. Define a tier and say what it includes: as many classes as they like, a set number each period, or none at all. Narrow it to certain classes, to certain hours, or to how far ahead that tier may book. Somebody booking past what their plan covers is refused with the rule in words and offered the drop-in price, and their own page says what is left before they get there.
- A renewal date and a button. No card details and nothing taken from anybody: you take the money the way you already do and mark it renewed, and the plan starts its next period. Past its date it books nothing, and the client is told so with the date. What somebody attended is never deleted by a renewal.
- Memberships come in with the rest of a client list: the tier, the renewal date and how much of this period is gone. A row that names a membership without a renewal date is skipped whole rather than guessed at, and one import still comes back out in a click.
- The prices screen shows what each membership includes beside the packs, and states the rule that a pack is a small discount and a membership a big one, which is the way round that works.
- Sell no membership and nothing about this appears anywhere.
- Your Google reviews on your own site with a key of your own, an Ask for a review button you press when the moment is right, a printable code for the wall, your own testimonials with recorded permission, and one animated wall for all of it.
- Several instructors and several rooms. Add the people who take sessions and the rooms they use, and nobody and no room is ever booked twice. Each instructor keeps their own working hours, the week a client sees is the union of them, and a client can ask for a particular instructor or say no preference. Rooms hold a number of people and can cap how many one instructor takes at once. With one instructor and no rooms, nothing changes on any screen.
- Articles: real monthly search numbers for eighteen languages, shipped inside the plugin, six article shapes that ask you for the part only you can write, and a WordPress draft at the end of it. Nothing is ever published for you, and drug and medical treatment subjects are refused rather than drafted.
- An optional Improve this draft button sends a draft you wrote to our site and brings back an edited version with a note about anything shaky. It is the only thing in the plugin that sends anything anywhere, it happens only when you press it, and it is limited to twenty a month. Everything else on that screen works with no network at all.
1.5.2
- Questions before a first visit: write them once against an appointment type or a class, and anybody booking that one answers on the way in. A yes to a question you have marked puts ”needs a word before the first session” on the request. The answers sit on that person’s record on your own site, on your screen only, and are covered by the WordPress export and erase tools.
- Bring your clients in from another system: upload the list it gives you, with each person’s remaining sessions, see what will happen before anything is written, and take a whole import back out in one click until somebody has trained off it. The same list downloads back out as a spreadsheet.
- Somebody with no email address on file now lands on your ”let them know” list with the reason, instead of being missed.
- The email setup names what is already sending mail on your site: another plugin by name, your theme, or your hosting.
- The download of everything you hold is offered on the Clients screen even before the first client is added.
1.5.1
- A breather between sessions, in minutes, so nobody is booked straight on top of the person before or after them. Classes count too, and the board says whose breather it would take.
- Days you are closed: a holiday, a single day off, or a run of them. Nothing is bookable, your regulars skip it, your clients see the day marked closed, and nobody is charged for a class that did not run.
- The shortest notice you will take can now be a cutoff as well as a flag: leave it as it is and a request for something sooner still reaches you marked short notice, or tick the box and those times are not offered at all.
- Name the kinds of session you offer, each with its own length and price, and your clients choose by name instead of by length. Mark one as first visit only and it is offered to somebody who has never been before.
- Two people in one slot, or a small group: a shared session with its own places, each person on their own block, and a price set for two rather than a solo price split.
- A client can ask to train with somebody else from the request form, and the request arrives holding both names.
- The setup now asks for your phone console phrase, places your first class on the day and time you choose, and keeps you in the setup when it makes your booking page.
- Your own week in the dashboard draws your classes as well as your one to one sessions.
- Booking a place in a class, and taking somebody out of one, work by pressing the button on every browser.
- Opening your diary with your phrase shows the diary straight away.
- A skipped setup step stays listed as still to do.
1.5.0
- Classes: a weekly class with a name, a colour, a length and a number of places, on the same board as your one to one sessions.
- A class card shows how many places are left, and a full one shows how many people are waiting.
- People book a place from your own site with a name and an email address, and no account.
- A waiting list that costs nothing to join and shows somebody their place in the queue.
- A place that comes free is offered with a deadline close to the class, or goes to the first in line further out, per class, on the clock.
- A credit is only ever spent on a place somebody accepted.
- Open a class to see the room: who is in it, who is waiting, add somebody, promote somebody, tick who turned up, and change the number of places.
- Calling a class off asks about every person in it, one by one, before anything is spent or given back.
- A class holds its squares, so a one to one cannot be dropped on top of one.
- Email, off until you turn it on, through your own Gmail, Workspace, Cloudflare Email Routing or host mailbox, with a test send that has to pass first. Nothing ever goes through us.
- WhatsApp click to chat on your booking page and on your own screens, with the message written for you. Nothing is sent by the website.
- A setup that walks through the whole thing in a few minutes, and a Your setup panel listing what is still left.
- Say what you teach and the plugin uses your field’s words: students in classes, clients in sessions, patients with appointments.
- On the language step, your browser asks our site for a country guess so the week start, clock and currency arrive filled in. Your server makes no call.
1.4.9
- Your page is now reached by a link sent to your email, rather than by typing the address into the page. Ask for the link and it arrives in your inbox; open it once and the browser remembers you.
- Book a session and the same browser keeps your page from then on, with nothing to sign up for.
- Input is cleaned as it is read and output escaped as it is printed, throughout.
1.4.7
- Plan a whole week by dragging people onto the times they said they could do, and see everybody else’s availability while you do it.
- Blocks of sessions: record what somebody bought, and both of you see the same count as they use it.
- Sessions come off a block when they happen, not when they are booked.
- Cancelling asks what happens to the session, with your usual answer already chosen and the notice you were given on screen.
- Correct a block that was recorded wrong, and remove one nothing has come off.
- Set your prices once and show them as a price list, on the booking page or anywhere else.
- A guide for working out what to charge, if you have not settled on it yet.
- Clients can check how many sessions they have left.
- The diary reaches weeks ahead, not just this one.
- A whole week on one screen: clients mark every time they could train and mark again the ones that suit them best.
- Session lengths you choose, per client, with quarter hour start times.
- Sessions repeat every week, so a regular keeps their slot without anybody re-entering it.
- Suggests one and two person swaps when a requested time is taken, ranked so the least disruptive ask comes first.
- Records what every client says about each of your times, including the times they cannot do.
- Request to book, with instant confirmation available for slots that are free.
- Weeks, dates and times follow the site’s own locale, including a 24 hour clock where that is the norm.
- Download everything the plugin holds as a single file.
