WP Meta Importer & Updater allows administrators to efficiently manage and update SEO-related metadata using a CSV-based workflow.
Instead of manually editing meta titles and descriptions one by one, you can upload a CSV file containing URLs and metadata values, select the fields to update, and apply changes in a single operation.
This plugin is ideal for large websites where manual metadata updates would otherwise take significant time.
The plugin works alongside supported SEO plugins and does not replace or modify their core functionality.

How It Works
- Download the sample CSV file from the plugin interface.
- Add URLs and metadata values to the CSV file.
- Upload the CSV file using drag and drop or browse.
- Select the metadata fields you want to update.
- Click Upload & Update to apply changes.
Only the selected fields will be updated for the matched URLs.
CSV File Requirements
- The CSV file must include a URL column
- URLs are used to identify the corresponding post or page
- Only CSV files are supported
- Columns should match the selected metadata fields
- UTF-8 encoding is recommended

metabatchfolder to/wp-content/plugins/. - Activate the plugin through the WordPress Plugins menu.
- Navigate to WP Meta Importer & Updater in the WordPress admin area.

How do I upload a CSV file?

You can drag and drop the CSV file into the upload area or click to browse and select the file from your computer.

Which column is mandatory in the CSV file?

The URL column is mandatory. It is used to match and update the corresponding content.

Can I update only specific metadata fields?

Yes. You can select only the fields you want to update. Only selected fields will be modified.

What happens if a URL is not found?

If a URL does not match any content, it will be skipped and processing will continue for the remaining rows.

Can I undo changes after uploading the CSV?

There is no automatic rollback. It is recommended to take a full site backup before running a bulk update.
