Kuvaus
Replai for WooCommerce sends your customers a WhatsApp message from your shop’s own WhatsApp number the moment an order is placed, paid, shipped or refunded, with the tracking number and courier filled in. Unpaid and on-hold orders get a follow-up with a pay link that works on any device. Abandoned checkouts get a message with a link that rebuilds the exact cart.
Replies land in one inbox, where Replai’s assistant answers them with the order already known.
No Meta Business API application, no template approval, no per-message fees. The plugin delivers order events to your Replai workspace; Replai pairs to your existing WhatsApp number by QR, like WhatsApp Web, and sends every message at a human pace with hourly and daily caps.
What you get
- One message per order status, using your store’s own status names, including custom statuses.
- Fields you can insert: order number, items, totals, pay link, tracking number, courier, tracking link, shipping details, customer name, shop name and more.
- Follow-ups after a chosen delay, sent only if the order is still in that status, cancelled the moment it moves on.
- Quiet hours for follow-ups, so nobody is chased overnight.
- Admin alerts to up to five of your own numbers on new orders, failed payments and refunds.
- Abandoned checkout recovery with a link that rebuilds the cart on any device.
What it needs
A Replai account (https://replai.pm) on a plan that includes WooCommerce. Sending is off and test mode is on when you first connect, so every message goes to your own phone until you decide otherwise.
External services
This plugin connects to Replai, a service operated by Replai (https://replai.pm), to send WhatsApp messages on your behalf. It does not work without it.
What is sent, and when
- When an order is created or changes status: the order number, status, line items, totals, shipping method and cost, the customer’s billing name, phone number and email, the shipping address, any customer note, and any tracking number and courier recorded on the order. This is sent to https://app.replai.pm/api/hooks/woocommerce/ so that Replai can compose and send the WhatsApp message.
- When the plugin is activated or its settings are saved: the store name and address, so Replai can show which store is connected.
- Abandoned-cart capture is on by default and can be switched off under WooCommerce, Settings, Replai. While it is on: once a shopper types a phone number, email or first name at checkout, those fields and the cart contents are stored in your own database and sent to Replai so it can send a recovery link if the checkout is not completed. Nothing is sent before a phone number or email has been entered.
Consent
The plugin offers two modes, chosen in its settings. In ”note” mode, order updates are treated as transactional and a line under the phone field says WhatsApp updates will be sent. In ”checkbox” mode, an explicit opt-in checkbox is added to checkout, its answer is stored on the order, and Replai honours a ”no”.

Asennus
- In WordPress, go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, choose the zip and activate it.
- In your Replai dashboard, open Settings, Integrations and press ”Set up with the plugin”. Replai shows a delivery URL and a secret.
- In WordPress, go to WooCommerce, Settings, Replai. Paste the delivery URL and the secret, and save.
- Back in Replai, the connection confirms itself within a minute. Orders now appears in the sidebar.
- Under Orders, Messages, switch on the order statuses you want customers to hear about. Test mode sends every message to your own number until you turn it off.
UKK
-
Does this use the official WhatsApp Business API?
-
No. Replai pairs to the WhatsApp number you already have as a linked device, the same way WhatsApp Web does. There is no Meta application, no template approval and no per-message fee. The trade-off is that the number should be treated with care, which is why sending is paced and capped.
-
Will it message customers as soon as I activate it?
-
No. Sending is off and test mode is on when you connect. Every message goes to your own WhatsApp number with a TEST tag until you switch sending on deliberately.
-
What happens to a customer who does not want messages?
-
In checkbox mode their answer is stored on the order and Replai does not message them. In any mode, a customer who replies STOP is never messaged again from that number.
-
Does it slow down my checkout?
-
No. Order events are delivered after the order is saved and the checkout does not wait on them. If Replai were unreachable, the order still completes normally.
-
Can I use WooCommerce’s own webhooks instead?
-
Yes, for order updates: add Order created and Order updated webhooks under WooCommerce, Settings, Advanced, Webhooks with the same delivery URL and secret. Abandoned checkout recovery needs the plugin, because an unfinished checkout never becomes an order and so never fires a webhook.
-
Where is the data stored?
-
Order events are sent to Replai and stored in your Replai workspace. Captured carts are stored in a table in your own WordPress database, which is removed when the plugin is deleted.

Muutosloki
0.2.1
- Renamed ReplaiPM Order Messaging for WooCommerce, so it cannot be confused with other plugins named Replai.
- Declares WooCommerce as a required plugin, so WordPress asks for it before activation.
0.2.0
- Directory release. Updates now come from WordPress.org; the plugin’s own update check was removed.
- readme now documents every external call the plugin makes.
- Table names go through the %i placeholder, so every query is prepared end to end. Needs WordPress 6.2 or later.
0.1.7
- Sends parcel tracking with each order, so the courier, tracking number and tracking link reach your WhatsApp messages.
- Order meta that is not plain text is no longer dropped on the way out.
0.1.6
- Version manifest cached for 10 minutes instead of 6 hours, so Check again finds new versions.
0.1.5
- Checks for a new version right after the settings are saved and once a day.
0.1.4
- Links on the Plugins page open the Replai dashboard.
0.1.3
- The hello carries the store name, so Replai shows it without an API key.
0.1.2
- Self-hosted update check added (removed again in 0.2.0 for the directory).
0.1.1
- Line-item meta in the compact payload is a list; an administrator is used for the REST payload when none was recorded.
